Applications will be opening soon for ‘Art of the Gift’ Application Window August 4 – October 5, 2026 Show dates are November 6 – January 1, 2027 You’re invited to apply to Art of the Gift, the Full Moon Gallery’s annual holiday show the celebrates the spirit of a handmade holiday! We are encouraging artists to submit works that are perfect for holiday gifting, with a focus on smaller, gift-sized pieces that will bring joy to holiday shoppers seeking unique and meaningful presents. We are seeking art of all kinds for this exhibition. This is a non-themed show, our only request is that works are accessible in size and cost to the general public. 3D pieces are especially popular this time of year – ceramicists, woodworkers, jewelers, fiber artists – this is your time! Special for this exhibit only, prints (both framed and unframed) and cards will be accepted! If you submit prints, please also plan to provide a method for display – print rack, nice box, etc. We are also accepting series of items as one on the application – i.e. if you have a number of items (bowls, mugs, ornaments, etc) that are priced the same and not individually titled, these pieces together would count as one work on the application. Please be sure to list how many of each piece you plan to bring if accepted. Each application may include up to 10 works, and you may apply up to 3 times for a total of 30 works submitted to the exhibit. Works are reviewed by a Jury Committee, and all artists selected will be notified in writing on or before October 10, 2026 Important Dates: Show Dates – November 6 – January 1, 2027 Applications Open – August 4 – October 5, 2026 Artist Acceptance Notification – on or before October 10, 2026 Installation Fees due – November 3, 2026 Artwork Delivery – November 3 from 11am – 5pm Public Open House / Artist Reception – November 13 from 5pm – 7pm Fees: Application: $20 per 10 works submitted. You may apply up to 3 times per exhibition, for a total of 30 works submitted per show. Installation: $40 for MVAC Members, $48 for Not-Yet-Members (yearly MVAC membership begins at $25 – click here for more info) per 10 works accepted. 25% MVAC Commission on any works sold during the show. All artwork will need to installation ready – framed (if applicable) with a suitable hanger on the back, gallery wrapped canvas with finished edge, etc. MVAC and all employees does not assume any liability for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork while on display. All artists are strongly recommended to carry liability insurance.
