Our Story “If you're building culture, you shouldn't have to fight to be found.”

Why do we keep on missing things to do?

Not the big stuff. We mean the everything-local, things-we-actually-want-to-go-to kind of things. A garage sale. The farmer’s market. The local art studio. A Britney Spears open mic night. People and places are making things, hosting events, trying to bring others together—and still, no one shows up. Not because people don’t care, but because the right people never saw it.

It’s not the events. It’s the calendars.

So we asked ourselves the question: what if we needed a new type of calendar? Not the kind you use to plan your own week. Public event calendars. Designed for curators and creators. Meant to live where your audience already is. A mobile-friendly calendar that is easy to update, easy to share, and built to show up.

This is why we built Daisy—because social was never built for showing up. Social feeds have become the new community bulletin board. Instagram. TikTok. Group chats. They were built for scrolling, not planning. Stories expire. Posts disappear. Algorithms hide what matters. You can do everything right and still no one sees it.

So that’s the idea behind Daisy, a free public calendar meant to solve the problem of disaggregated calendars—connecting events to people, and creators to their followings.

There are a few ways we’re building this to bring people together.

First of all, Daisy is free to use. Not temporarily but free by design. If we want more people to show up, we have to make it easier to share the events that matter.

Built for Creators

For creators, it lives in your link in bio. And what is a creator? Simply put, it’s anyone who manages a social following—like a brewery, a yoga teacher, an EDM DJ, a country museum or even an influencer. And what’s the problem they all have? Getting their folks to remember to show up. And what is the easiest way to show up? Get on their calendar. With Daisy, it’s simple for followers to subscribe to your events and never miss out.

Built for People Looking for Something to Do

And for your average person looking for something to do, Daisy brings together all of the open calendars on the internet. Subscribe to the creators you love, build your own personal Daisy, and never miss what's happening. Calendars are surprisingly hard to find, and even harder to subscribe to, and people just want a place that brings all the events together. Daisy makes it easy for events to be found.

Who We Are

And before we forget—hi. We’re Eric, Chris and Joe. Just a few friends who met in a new town, looking for things to do and ways to feel connected. We got to talking and realized that with a little thinking, we could build the calendar and cal-in-bio that doesn’t exist today.

Daisy gives your events a place to live, a way to be shared, and a better chance of being seen. If you're building culture, you shouldn't have to fight to be found. Daisy helps people see it, plan for it, and show up.
