Dzogchen-LA meditation Tuesday, December 23rd | 7 PM -8:30 PM 1639 18th Street. Santa Monica, CA 90404 Free + Open to the Public The Dzogchen-LA meditation group is returning in person— After four years on Zoom and over a decade of shared practice, we’re gathering again—twice a month at 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica—to continue this journey in real time and shared space. Join us for a healing series of every-other Tuesday evening guided meditations, where we will learn to open and become Aware of our own innermost Heart-Essence Awareness. Emerging from the Dzogchen lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. This is not just a Tuesday evening “mind practice,” but a doorway into living from and within freedom—freedom not only from our own psychology and historic self-narrative, but also from the habitual creative loops that keep us recycling the same expressions. Over time, we learn to flow through life with the lived experience of non-duality within duality—and duality within non-duality. From an ever-deepening familiarity with our own True Nature, there naturally comes a diminishing of difficult mind-states and a flourishing of positive mind-states— alongside a more spacious, inspired relationship with our own creative expression. Whether you’re a longtime meditator or a curious newcomer, this is a space to explore how presence and creativity arise from the same open source. Guided by Timo Spekkens, Mindfulness, Natural Awareness, Compassion Educator Teacher and Mentor @ MARC-UCLA and the Dzogchen Center.
