Fall into science Week 1: October 5-9 Get ready for a week packed with hands-on STEM adventures! Campers will explore a variety of scientific fields, including chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, and more through exciting experiments, creative challenges, and interactive activities. Camp runs from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM with check-in running from 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM and check-out running from 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM. What if I can't make it to the check-in or check-out time? For an additional fee, Before Care and After Care is available for those needing early check-in or late check-out. Before Care runs from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM. After Care runs from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM. Any camper dropped off before 8:30 AM or after 4:00 PM will be charged the respective Before or After Care fee. Become a member to save! My Camper is starting Kindergarten. Can they join? Campers attending Adventure Science Center camp must be at least 5 years old and have entered Kindergarten to attend camp. Should I pack a lunch and snack for my child each day? Adventure Science Center camp does not provide lunch or snacks. All campers should bring a snack with them each day and may either bring their own lunch or order food from our on-site STRATA Café. STRATA lunch orders must be completed and paid for on Monday morning for the entire week. Should I send my child with money for the gift shop? We do not encourage campers to bring money to camp. Their camp schedule does not include a stop in the gift shop. Cancellation Policy We understand plans change! Please review the following cancellation policies. SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancel before April 1st - full refund minus $50. Cancel prior to Week 1 of camp - 50% refund Cancel after Week 1 of camp starts - no refund NON-SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY: 28 days or more from the first day of the camp session - full refund minus $10. More than 14 days in advance first day of the camp session - 50% refund Less than 14 days from the first day of the camp session - no refund Refund requests will be calculated from the delivery date of the request. Please email [email protected] to request a refund. Campers With Special Needs We are committed to creating an inclusive camp experience for every camper. We make every effort to support campers with a variety of needs, though some accommodations may be beyond our capacity. If your child has specific accommodations, needs, or considerations, please contact the Camp Office at (615) 401-5077. Our Camp Coordinator will follow up to discuss how we can best support your camper. Subsidized Camp Opportunities Adventure Science Center is proud to offer subsidized camp registration fees to families that participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, WIC) and the Families First/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs. How to Enroll: Fill out the subsidized camp request form here. Upload proof of aid at the end of the form, then submit the form. The camp coordinator will contact parents in the order they apply to our subsidized camp opportunities. Subsidized camp registrations are available for single-day and week-long Camps. Spots are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
