Fossil Friends: Dig, Play, Learn June 1 - June 5   Get ready to dig in! Fossil Friends: Dig, Play, Learn is a week-long Adventure Academy camp designed for rising kindergarteners who are ready for their first big science adventure. Campers will travel back in time to explore the world of paleontology, discovering how scientists uncover fossils, learning how dinosaurs compared in size to each other (and to themselves!), and investigating how prehistoric creatures were preserved in amber. Through hands-on activities like salt dough fossil making, a live science demonstration, a real dig pit, and fizzing dino eggs, young scientists will think, create, and discover all week long. With daily stories, music, movement, and a special planetarium visit, Fossil Friends is the perfect launchpad for a lifelong love of science. Register Now: Rising Kindergarten FAQs What time is camp? Camp runs from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM with check-in running from 8:30 AM  – 9:00 AM and check-out running from 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM. What if I can't make it to the check-in or check-out time? For an additional fee, Before Care and After Care is available for those needing early check-in or late check-out. Before Care runs from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM. After Care runs from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM. Any camper dropped off before 8:30 AM or after 4:00 PM will be charged the respective Before or After Care fee. Become a member to save! My Camper is starting Kindergarten. Can they join? Campers attending Adventure Science Center camp must be at least 5 years old and have entered Kindergarten to attend camp.   Should I pack a lunch and snack for my child each day? Adventure Science Center camp does not provide lunch or snacks. Campers should bring a snack with them each day and may either bring their own lunch or order food from our on-site Subway. Subway lunch orders must be completed and paid for on Monday morning for the entire week. *Beginning with President's Day Camp 2026, the on-site Subway will no longer be available as a lunch option. Campers are highly encourage do bring a snack or lunch with them.  Should I send my child with money for the gift shop? We do not encourage campers to bring money to camp. Their camp schedule does not include a stop in the gift shop. Cancellation Policy We understand plans change! Please review the following cancellation policies. SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancel before April 1st -  full refund minus $50. Cancel prior to Week 1 of camp -  50% refund Cancel after Week 1 of camp starts -  no refund  NON-SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY: 28 days or more from the first day of the camp session - full refund minus $10. More than 14 days in advance first day of the camp session - 50% refund Less than 14 days from the first day of the camp session - no refund  Refund requests will be calculated from the delivery date of the request.
