About this event
One of 19 upcoming events at American Institute of Architects San Francisco, and 1,924 across San Francisco.
Center for Architecture + Design How Soon Is Now? offers a glimpse into the work, culture, and history of architecture and interior design at California College of the Arts. Bringing together work from recent years with selected archival material, the exhibition explores some of the ideas, practices, and forms of inquiry that have shaped the Architecture Division and its programs. Models, drawings, project images, publications, posters, postcards, and other ephemera move between the present and fragments from the programs’ histories, revealing connections among students, faculty, alumni, ideas, and work across time. Together, they offer a portrait of an educational culture shaped by experimentation and inquiry, and by sustained engagement with the social, technological, and environmental questions facing architecture and design today. Swing by the Center for Architecture + Design on Monday, October 19th at 6 pm to kick-off this incredible show! RSVP required, light refreshments available. How Soon is Now? will be on display at the Center for Architecture + Design from October 19th, 2026 - February 25th, 2027.
