Ever wonder what those beautiful flowering plants growing along your favorite hiking trails are? Have you ever thought to yourself "Can I eat that?" If you are frequently asking these questions, then you'll want to join ABG for a hands-on field botany course with Dr. Marilyn Barker. You will learn about local plants, their identification, and uses. Class meets weekly on Wednesdays May-June (May 13th, 20th, 27th, June 3rd). There is an optional extra field trip day on Saturday, May 30th. This is a 4-day course; no single-day registrations. Pre-registration is required. $10 cancellation fee applies. No refunds for cancellations made with less than 7 days from the date of the class. Call the Garden at 907-770-3692 with questions. Class fee does not include field trip transportation or optional books and supplies.
