About this event

Edible Art: The Craft of Sourdough is a 3 part hands-on culinary arts series that explores sourdough bread as both nourishment and artistic practice. Rooted in time-honored traditions of grain, fire, and fermentation, this course invites participants to approach bread not simply as a recipe, but as a creative medium. Like painting or sculpture, sourdough requires structure, intuition, patience, and attention to detail. Participants will learn to transform flour, water, and salt into expressive, golden-crusted loaves while exploring how flavor, texture, and design elevate bread into edible art. Through guided demonstration, hands-on practice, and curated tastings, the series emphasizes craftsmanship, sensory awareness, and creative expression. No prior baking experience is necessary.
