Homeschool Enrichment Series: What Is…Art? (Ages 13-18)

Rather than beginning with definitions, students will encounter objects, ideas, provocations, and philosophical problems that complicate the boundary between art and everything else. The goal of the class is to not create art. Instead, students will attempt to understand art by testing its boundaries—asking what can be removed, changed, ignored, or rejected before something stops being art at all.
