Instructed Life Drawing – Gestural & Structural Approach to the Figure (18+, Beginner to Advanced Level)

Rather than copying, you’ll learn to see and draw by interpreting the figure through gesture, form, and structure. Each session begins with a 30-minute demonstration by Francesco, followed by 2.5 hours of drawing from a live model. Individual guidance and feedback are available throughout the class. Topics include: Gesture drawing fundamentals Building the figure with essential forms Using contour lines and landmarks for volume and perspective Understanding overlaps, foreshortening, and weight distribution Differentiating core and cast shadows Sighting techniques and simplified anatomy Whether you’re just starting or refining your figure drawing skills, Francesco’s instruction will help you grow with clarity and confidence.
