Explore the Art of Wax and Watercolor with a Fabric-Like Finish If you’re looking for a unique and immersive art experience, this full-day workshop is not to be missed. Inspired by the traditional Indonesian technique of Batik, you’ll create a stunning layered painting using melted wax, watercolor, and Ginwashi rice paper — known for its beautiful translucent texture. Guided by your instructor, you’ll work with multiple templates and learn how to build up color and design using wax-resist methods. The result is a one-of-a-kind painting with the look and feel of delicate, hand-dyed fabric. This class is perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike who are eager to try something new. A break will be taken for lunch on your own. Limited to just 6 participants to ensure plenty of individual instruction. All supplies are provided
