Join us May 29th and 30th as we make up for previous bad weather and line up two fly days for AT-6, and WACO UPF-7 Warbird Flight Experiences Rides! Summer is fast approaching and what better way to kick off the America 250th Celebrations with memorable flight experiences aboard Legends of American Airpower of WWII! You can take to the skies in the legendary WWII AT-6 “Texan” just as Army Air Force Pilots did when they entered their advanced flight training phase before earning their wings of Silver or Gold and going on to fly fighter and bomber aircraft combat in Europe and the Pacific. You can also get the ultimate barnstormer’s experience with the wind in your hair in our open cockpit Waco UPF-7 Bi-Plane known for its similarity to early barnstorming planes of the 1930s but was in reality one of the many primary training aircraft prospective army Air Force pilots had to conquer to start their road to wings! All of our flight experiences have unique history behind them, but they also are a memorable flight experience adventure and a lot fun to fly in! All of this weekends flights will fly the Long Island South Shore and pass over Jones Beach State Park in a Salute to our veterans during this America 250th Anniversary year!
