This class is perfect for beginner bookbinders or folks looking for a refresher and will focus on sewn, non-adhesive bookbinding techniques, including making pamphlet-stitch journals and two variations of stab bindings. Students can expect to leave with 3 or 4 books (5×7” or smaller) and the know-how to continue their bookbinding at home. Additional information: Advanced registration required. Ages: Suitable for ages 11+. Skill level: This class is open to all skill levels, and especially geared towards beginners. Physical ability: Sewing requires average hand strength and flexibility, including the ability to pinch and hold needle and thread. A $35 materials fee is due to the instructor in class and covers all materials and tools.
