In partnership with ASI Nordic Table Instructor Patrice Johnson, campers explore culture through hands-on cooking and sensory discovery. Campers engage all five senses as they chop, taste, smell, and create. They practice kitchen skills and build confidence while preparing dishes inspired by Scandinavian traditions. Along the way, they discover the stories, ingredients, and customs that shape each recipe. This camp blends culinary exploration with cultural learning as campers build skills and friendship through shared learning. Campers leave with new recipes, practical kitchen skills, and a deeper appreciation for how food connects people and culture. Cooking and Culture Camp Testimonials “What a fun time it’s been! We moved here last year and are so glad we found ASI + camps. We look forward to everything ahead.” – ASI Camp Family Registration closes on July 14 (three weeks before camp start date).
