About this event
One of 54 upcoming events at Amityville Public Library, and 4,664 across Long Island.
Join us for a scenic autumn adventure aboard an antique train departing from the historic Witch's Hat Train Station, circa 1891, in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Enjoy a 90-minute ride through the beautiful Bucks County countryside along the historic New Hope Branch line in beautifully restored vintage passenger coaches. Along the way, a storyteller will share fascinating history and stories as the train travels to Buckingham before returning to New Hope. After the ride, enjoy free time to have lunch on your own and explore New Hope's charming shops before we begin our journey home. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS! Registration will begin on Monday, August 24th for all Amityville Public Library cardholders and Friday, August 28th for all non-Amityville Public Library cardholders. (If there is still room! You might want to call ahead of time to check!) *Note: On August 24th, each Amityville Public Library cardholder can sign up themselves and ONE other Amityville School District resident. On Friday, August 28th everyone is free to register. **Transportation waiver required: Click here to sign/date the transportation waiver. Anyone who doesn't sign the waiver will be unable to get onto the bus.
