The Jones House & Town of Boone present Boone Junior Appalachian Musicians SPRING 2026 Recital Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. Free General Admission Doors open at 4:45 p.m. RSVP FOR BOONE J.A.M. SPRING RECITAL RSVP FOR BOONE J.A.M. SPRING RECITAL Boone JAM is a group music lesson program held at the Jones House Cultural Center in downtown Boone for local children ages eight and up. The program is currently organized through the Town of Boone, NC and offers classes in fiddle, clawhammer banjo, guitar, mandolin, band, and ukulele. Please make plans to come out and support the next generation of aspiring traditional Appalachian musicians for this Spring Recital performance. RSVP appreciated. The Boone JAM program is an affiliate of the Junior Appalachian Musicians organization (www.jamkids.org). The program also receives support from the Wayne C. Please purchase your tickets from approved sources. PARKING INFORMATION Please carefully read the information and instructions below to ensure the best experience when you visit the Theatre. Metered street parking and pay lots are monitored and parking is enforced Monday – Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. except on town observed holidays. Parking is $1.00/hour at all metered parking spaces.  Metered & lot parking is free all day on Sundays and every day after 5 p.m.         Parking in Appalachian State University parking lots (i.e. the Peacock Lot accessed off of Howard Street) is available for free on weeknights after 5 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays except on ASU home football game days.         Accessible Parking: Accessible spaces are available in town lots and along King Street. Parking in any metered parking space is free as long as a valid handicapped placard/license plate is displayed.       ATHC does not own or operate any parking lots or meters and cannot accept responsibility for any parking mishaps or fees.
