Teen Studio: Felted Ornaments

This workshop invites student artists in grades 6-12 to explore the creative possibilities of fiber through felting. Students will learn techniques such as layering, shaping, and embellishing wool fibers while experimenting with color, texture, and form to create unique seasonal ornaments. Through hands-on exploration, students will develop an understanding of material, design, and craftsmanship while creating a handmade artwork to enjoy or share. The Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen. The Windgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is supported by Michael Laughter. Reduced tuition is automatically applied to all classes through 2026.
