Masterpiece in the Making

A step-by-step guided painting class for 9-12 year olds with three goals: have fun, learn or improve upon a skill to take with you each class, and complete a painting to take home every two weeks. We'll learn about finding basic shapes in real pictures, perspective; tint, shade, tone, and hue; and other skills that won't become irrelevant after finishing one piece. The 6 completed paintings will include landscapes, still objects, and life. *This class is taught by an art student working towards a career in Art Education.
