Music Appreciation (3rd - 6th)

This class would introduce students to music as a form of storytelling, emotional expression, and cultural identity through active listening, discussion, games, and creative activities. We would explore a variety of musical styles and genres while learning about rhythm, instruments, culture, and the ways music can affect emotions. Topics may include movie soundtracks, folk music, music from different cultures around the world, and how music connects to art, history, and storytelling. No prior music experience would be required—just a willingness to listen, participate, and have fun!
