ToastMasters

This 8-week speaking course is designed to help students build confidence, clarity, and poise in front of an audience through practical, supportive practice. Drawing on proven principles inspired by Toastmasters International, students will learn how to organize their thoughts, speak more effectively under pressure, and engage listeners with purpose and presence. Each week focuses on a different skill—ranging from overcoming nervousness and improving vocal delivery to structuring speeches, using storytelling techniques, and thinking on your feet. Students will participate in short prepared speeches, impromptu speaking exercises, and constructive peer feedback in a positive, encouraging environment. By the end of the course, students will have delivered multiple speeches, strengthened their communication skills, and developed a toolkit they can use in interviews, presentations, leadership roles, and everyday conversations.
