Adult Workshop with Jinsun Kim

Our next Adult Workshop will be hosted by local, multimedia artist, Jinsun Kim! Join AMST in presenting Traditional Korean Fan Making, hosted by mixed media artist, Jinsun Kim, for a special hands-on workshop exploring the beauty of Korean traditional art. In this workshop, participants will discover the beauty of Hanji, a traditional Korean paper with a history of over 1,000 years. Participants will learn Korean brush calligraphy and ink painting techniques while creating your own traditional Korean fan using Hanji and bamboo. The unique cultural art experience invites you to connect with Korean heritage, creativity, and the joy of making something by hand. Materials are provided! Cancellation Policy: Member Discount: In order to receive the membership discount, participants must hold (at least) an Individual Membership at AMST, or present their TAMU-CC Student ID. Registration is required; each person in the studio MUST be registered for the workshop – no exceptions. No refunds will be issued. Participants are only subject to a full refund if the workshop does not meet the minimum participants, or is cancelled by AMST, and will be notified via email.
