Go beyond the typical birthday piñatas and learn the process to create your own original design! Instructor Chyann Haas will guide you in creating your form and building layers utilizing traditional papier-mache techniques. The final week will be spent coating your project with tissue or painting for a colorful and festive decorative sculpture. Whether you’re a kid, teen, or adult, all can enjoy the process! This 2-week course will be held from 1-3 pm, Saturday, September 12 & 19, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant. Recommended age: 10 and up Please note: An active membership is not required to register. Active members receive a 15% discount on classes.
