Live Music, Ed Amann

Ed's solo shows celebrate the oral tradition of folk music. He selects songs in real-time, responding to his audience. There’s no set list so it’s never the same show twice! Ed started playing guitar in 1963. He toured with The Elmore Brothers Band in the mid '70s, played with commercial bands around Akron, then, to get his songs out to the public, Ed started playing on his own in 2001. He writes in many styles but his recent singles have taken on an electric sound, channeling the band Ed hears in his head.
