First Friday – Summer Series: Paint In Session

Art in Session is a relaxed summer evening series at the Artists Art Center, designed to bring people back outside to explore creativity, connect with local artists, and support small businesses in downtown Spring Hope. Held on the First Friday of June, July, and August from 5PM–8PM, with each month highlighting a different artistic medium and artist(s) through live demonstrations, acoustic music, interactive “try-it” stations, and casual community gathering. This is not a formal class or large festival. Instead, Art in Session creates an approachable and family-friendly atmosphere where visitors can stroll downtown, shop local, experience artists actively creating in real time, and simply enjoy an evening immersed in the arts… and of course, shop! 🎨August – Paint in Session: Featuring live painting demonstrations by resident artist Linda Dumas Wade, advisory board member and community artist Manette Lawson, and guest artist Andre Jones, Spring Hope native and owner of D n D Arts Collective. Watch vibrant works of art come to life brushstroke by brushstroke as each artist shares their unique style and creative process. Ask questions, explore a variety of painting techniques, and even create your own mini masterpiece through our hands-on painting activity.
