From Arts Garage

A passionate mix of Classical, soul, and ambient styles of music delivered through violins. PERFORMER BIO: Umoja McNeish is a violinist, composer, producer, and solo artist whose work exists at the intersection of classical tradition, cinematic storytelling, and modern rhythm. Rooted in the violin yet unrestricted by genre, he fuses orchestral intensity, cinematic textures, hip-hop, and R&B influences into a sound that is both emotionally powerful and deeply immersive. With more than 16 years of international performance experience, Umoja has captivated audiences through performances that blend virtuosic musicianship with emotional storytelling. His music is designed not only to be heard, but felt—creating experiences that inspire reflection, elevation, and transformation. Throughout his career, Umoja has performed, collaborated, or shared stages with acclaimed artists including Andra Day, Talib Kweli, Black Violin, Wyclef Jean, Rick Ross, Wale, Queen Naija, WAR, Trey Songz, Fatman Scoop, Akon, Evanescence, and D Sharp. He has also performed for the Miami Heat, including playoff appearances, and has performed national anthems for both the Miami Heat and the Miami Marlins. As a producer and composer, Umoja creates cinematic soundscapes where beauty, tension, light, and darkness coexist. Projects such as Experiential Project: Bloom, Experiential Project: Vortex, and Bloom reflect his commitment to expanding the possibilities of contemporary violin music. Through every performance and composition, Umoja seeks to create from a place of authenticity—offering music as a catalyst for inspiration, empowerment, and transformation. His work invites audiences into a space where music becomes more than sound; it becomes an experience. Gaby is a Cuban professional violinist with over 18 years of experience, bringing elegance and emotional depth to weddings and luxury events. A graduate of the prestigious University of the Arts in Cuba (Instituto Superior de Arte), she blends strong classical training with modern versatility, creating refined live performances that elevate every celebration Gaby curates each musical experience to reflect her clients’ unique vision. From timeless classical pieces to romantic favorites, contemporary pop, and cinematic selections, her performances are designed not just to fill a space — but to transform it. DJ Venimis is a dynamic DJ, live performance specialist, and creative force known for his ability to seamlessly blend technical precision with high-energy audience engagement. As the official DJ and hype man for the International Reggae and World Music Award-winning group Sons of Mystro, Venimis has spent years helping shape electrifying performances that fuse classical virtuosity with hip-hop, reggae, R&B, and contemporary music. Growing up alongside violinists Malcolm and Umoja McNeish in South Florida, Venimis developed a deep connection to the musical vision that would later become Sons of Mystro. His ability to craft immersive sonic experiences has made him an essential part of performances ranging from major festivals and performing arts centers to nationally recognized events and productions. For this special performance, DJ Venimis joins violinist, composer, and producer Umoja McNeish to help bring a genre-defying musical experience to life. Together, they merge cinematic soundscapes, orchestral textures, hip-hop rhythms, and soulful energy into a performance that transcends traditional boundaries. Serving as both the rhythmic foundation and energetic catalyst of the show, Venimis expertly weaves beats, transitions, and live audience interaction into Umoja’s original compositions and improvisational artistry. Known for his sharp instincts, commanding stage presence, and commitment to creating unforgettable moments, DJ Venimis helps transform each performance into more than a concert—it becomes an immersive journey through sound, emotion, and movement. His collaborative work continues to push creative boundaries while connecting audiences to music in a powerful and meaningful way.
