About this event

Live Music

Distance & Volume: Live Acoustic Imaging comes to Arts Mission Oak Cliff on Friday, April 4th at 7:30 PM with a simple premise: flip the room and rethink the way we listen. April 4 | 7:30 PM | $10 Distance & Volume: Live Acoustic Imaging April 4 | 7:30 PM | $10 Led by David Forsyth alongside Frankie Leonie, Jackson Scribner, and special guests, this immersive acoustic performance places the artists around the edges of the space while the audience gathers in the center. The lights stay low and the volume stays restrained. There is little to no amplification, just voices, wood, strings, and harmony traveling naturally through the room. The songs chosen are the ones that cut deepest, the ones that felt unavoidable when they were written. Performers may subtly weave into one another’s moments, adding harmony or texture, but the focus remains on intimacy and intention. There is no spectacle and no hiding, just sound moving in real space. Imagine sitting on a living room couch while a great singer wails softly from the kitchen, close enough to feel and far enough to float. Bring a pillow. Come lay down. Tickets About the Artist David Forsyth is an experiential songwriter event that creates a live 3D acoustic image from the vantage point of a reclined position.
