From Artseeker Gallery

“Warmth on Canvas” became the first gesture of the new Brooklyn-based Artseeker Gallery — a friendly invitation for neighbors and visitors to stop by, take a look around, and feel that art can be warm, sincere, and festive. Curated by VICTO and Uliana Sal, the exhibition offered a lively conversation with the public through more than 30 works by artists from different countries, accompanied by sculptures, Christmas decorations, and art objects. The idea behind the project is simple yet timely: to restore a sense of closeness and joy in an overstimulated, weary city through encounters with beauty. The exhibition is built around three viewer-friendly pillars: Color and light - rich palettes and soft radiance create an atmosphere of celebration. Materiality - the texture of canvas, the sheen of ceramics, and the volume of sculpture serve as tactile anchors for attention. Stories and gentle humor - from lyrical scenes to playful images that are easy to love and remember (or take home). This approach feels especially fitting for the gallery’s debut: it introduces Artseeker’s character, showcases the diversity of its artists, and makes every visitor feel like a welcomed guest. Featured artists: Olga Dak, MKate, Lena Langer, Maria Vetkalova, Natiko, Tanya Nefedova, Andrey Visokinsky, GANNA, Anastacia Kevich, Oksana Buryakova (Aksinia), Iurii Dzhinaliev, Nataliia Krykun, GerDa, Alexandra Vems, Anna Voronina, Evgeniya Polyudova, Daria Borisova, Yana Raynus, Ekaterina Kuzmina, Irina Filova, Svetlana Akchurina, Denis Zabelin, Asy Shalimova, Anastasia Mastilovic, Holi, Inga Savina, Irina Petrova, Tatyana Tishenko (tati_art), Kerry Ost, Nina Grigel, and Valeriya Salnikova - artists whose works bring breadth to the show, ranging from lyrical abstraction and urban scenes to decorative objects and ceramics. This diversity is an intentional choice, allowing every viewer to find their own point of emotional resonance. The exhibition layout follows a soft rhythm, leading visitors from bright visual “magnets” to quieter zones of contemplation. During the opening, festive details and Christmas elements enhanced the cozy, home-like atmosphere: guests could enjoy paintings, visually “touch” the sculptural volumes, chat with friends, and even pick out gifts. From day one, Artseeker Gallery positioned itself as a place of connection equally welcoming to the first-time buyer and the seasoned collector. In a city where one can easily grow tired of “big art,” this opening with its emotional, open-hearted program lowered barriers and widened the audience. Community was at the core — the festive format created a perfect reason for locals to meet the gallery and for artists to meet one another, forming the foundation for the project’s creative ecosystem. Collecting perspective — the exhibited works feel naturally at home in interiors: color, texture, and accessible narratives make them lasting companions, which is key for first-time collectors. “Warmth on Canvas” was conceived as an atmospheric exhibition-introduction. It invites visitors to slow down, return to favorite works, talk, and leave with the feeling that art truly warms the soul. This sense of presence the genuine connection between people and art; has become the gallery’s most authentic calling card. The debut of Artseeker Gallery in Brooklyn turned out to be heartfelt and full of energy. The project doesn’t pretend to be more complex than it is; it simply fulfills its promise; to bring people together around beauty, light, and gentle irony. On the eve of Christmas, that message feels especially meaningful: a warm encounter and a painting that calls to you can bring back the feeling of home, even in the heart of a bustling metropolis.
