AmiciMusic continues their Music at the Museum series with a program entitled Four-Hand Piano Trio on Thursday, April 30 at 6:30pm. The concert features an international ensemble of musicians—Vadim Tchikil, violin (from France/Russia), Jacques-Pierre Malan, cello (from South Africa), Francesco Cipolletta, piano (from Italy), and pianist/artistic director Daniel Weiser. They will perform a program featuring exciting music for violin, cello, and four-hand piano, a very rare and unique combination. They will play two of the four quartets by Romantic composer Hermann Berens for this combination, as well as some spirited arrangements of the Brahms Hungarian Dances and Liszt’s Rhapsody no. 2. AmiciMusic is an award-winning non-profit chamber music organization dedicated to performing intimate, high-quality concerts in non-traditional spaces and to breaking down barriers between performers and audiences through fun, informative talks before each piece is played. It should be a spectacular show you will not want to miss! Purchase Tickets The Steinway piano is available to the Asheville Art Museum through the courtesy of the Asheville Chamber Music Series.
