Rising Stars Concert with Quartet Nova Lux

Rising Stars Concert is a collaboration between the Asheville Chamber Music Series and the Asheville Art Museum, featuring North Carolina musicians embarking on a major concert career. The event is sponsored and made possible by Heidi DuBose. Quartet Nova Lux Hyejin Kim, violin Aaron Lipsky, clarinet Kyle Johnson, cello Yeonju Lee, piano Quartet Nova Lux was formed in 2025 by graduate students at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Its members have appeared as soloist with the Indianapolis Symphony, “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, and have performed with the Nashville Symphony, New World Symphony, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and Chattanooga Symphony. They have also appeared as featured soloists and in chamber concerts in South Korea, Japan, France, Czechia, and the United States.
