JOIN THE WAITLIST Young artists will learn about the magic of printmaking. We will study accomplished printmaking artists as well as delve into the lines, shapes, compositions and colors of our own original prints.  Found objects and created stamps will allow us to explore the many ways in which we can create a printed piece of artwork.    Meet the Instructor: Maggie Imhoff is an educator of twenty-three years, including, most recently, the Art teacher at Ira B Jones elementary school in Asheville. She has taught at several summer camps, created outdoor art experiences for kids as well as directed at a children’s circus. She loves to celebrate art in her everyday life. She knits, paints, sings, and dances.  This quote from Phylicia Rashad sums it up: “Before a child speaks, it sings.  Before they write, they paint. As soon as they stand, they dance. Art is the basis of human expression.” As an art educator, it brings her joy to bring art to children’s lives.
