About this event
One of 112 upcoming events at Athens Theatre.
For one extraordinary evening, Indiana Avenue will close to traffic and become the setting for LUNA: A Gothic Feast and Spectacle. On October 21, guests will dine outdoors in the heart of historic downtown DeLand for an immersive evening of food, wine, performance, and theatrical spectacle—all in support of the Athens Theatre and the launch of its endowment fund. Presented in collaboration with Cress Restaurant, Bake Chop, De La Vega, The Elusive Grape, Pat & Toni’s Sweet Things, DeLand Eatery and Joe Hearn Events, LUNA will feature an elegant multi-course feast, expertly paired wines, and unexpected entertainment unfolding throughout the evening, with the historic Athens Theatre providing the backdrop. This special night marks the beginning of an important new chapter for the Athens. Proceeds from LUNA will help establish an endowment dedicated to protecting the theatre’s future and ensuring that this treasured landmark continues to entertain, inspire, and serve our community for generations to come. Guests are encouraged to embrace the evening and dress elegantly dark—sophisticated, dramatic, and worthy of a night under the moon. Come for the feast. Stay for the spectacle. Be part of the Athens Theatre’s future. *As this is Florida, rest assured, we have a backup weather plan. And since we’re fluent in the phrase “the show must go on,” should the weather not cooperate, LUNA will move inside the Athens Theatre for a magical, intimate evening.* Tickets $200/per person $375/per couple Table for 8: $1,300 with code 𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗡𝟭𝟯
