Storytime Spotlight

Join us for the next edition of Storytime Spotlight featuring author Cheryl Giles and her delightful children’s book, Counting Backwards, Rhyming Fun, Twenty-five to None. Families are invited to enjoy a live reading and conversation celebrating the joy of language, rhythm, and early literacy through engaging storytelling that sparks young imaginations. Storytime Spotlight is AWAACC’s educational series highlighting Black and Brown children’s book authors through live readings, songs, rhymes, and conversations. The series is moderated by Dr. Cathryn Calhoun, AWAACC’s Director of Education and Community Engagement, and Keah Adams, AWAACC’s Senior Manager of Education and Community Engagement. Each session is livestreamed on Facebook and AWAACC’s YouTube channel, making it easy for families to join from anywhere.
