Historic Baltimore Town: A Walking Tour

From industrial waterfront to the city’s center of tourism and festivities, historic Baltimore Town has seen remarkable transformations. Founded in 1729, Baltimore Town is one of the three original towns that compromises today’s Baltimore City. Join us to walk the history of our waterfront and discover public art hiding in plain sight, historic ships and their ballasts used as street pavers, original plots of Baltimore Town, and the National Aquarium’s Harbor Wetlands Project for a glimpse into what this part of town looked like more than 300 years ago – and maybe what it can look like again in the future.
