Stephanie Borgani ~ Vocals Tal Yahalom ~ Guitar Vitor Gonçalves ~ Accordion Rogério Boccato ~ Percussion Special Guest: Hallai Govreen ~ Clarinet / Sax STEPHANIE BORGANI is a Brazilian-American vocalist and composer based in São Paulo, Brazil. Her work centers the wordless voice in both original projects and collaborations, drawing from Brazilian instrumental music, jazz, chamber music, and free improvisation. She has performed and recorded extensively, appearing on over 15 albums as a leader or sideperson, and working with artists such as André Marques, Salomão Soares, Gaia Wilmer, and Tatiana Parra. She performs throughout Brazil and internationally, and lived in the United States from 2015 to 2021 while studying at Columbia University and the New England Conservatory. Stephanie leads several original projects, including “Respiro”, an instrumental duo with pianist Luis Chamis, and “Mímica”, a voice and saxophone chamber quartet with a debut album scheduled for release in late 2026. TAL YAHALOM is an award-winning guitarist, composer and educator based in Brooklyn, New York since 2014. Described as “among the most uniquely gifted guitarists on the NYC improv scene” (NYC Jazz Record) and “one of the most impressive jazz players of his generation” (Bill Kirchner), he is committed to creating engaging storytelling, thoughtful interplay, and unique sonic environments that go beyond the traditional functions of the guitar. Tal has taken the stage as a semifinalist at the 2019 Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz International Guitar Competition, earned 1st place at the 2015 Detroit Jazz Festival National Guitar Competition, 3rd place at the 2016 Montreux Jazz Festival International Guitar Competition, and received an AICF scholarship award of excellence in 2014-2015. As a leader, Yahalom released “Mirror Image” (chamber-jazz quintet, 2025 on Adhyâropa Record), "Solo Standards" (self-release, 2023) and several solo EPs. He performs internationally at acclaimed festivals and venues while actively collaborating on the NYC scene, working with artists such as GRAMMY winner Danielle Wertz, Adam O’Farrill, Jacob Jolliff, David Leon and Lex Korten.
