At only 14, he started working as a studio session guitarist -- first in his hometown -- then in greater Brazil -- and finally abroad. After becoming a bandleader himself, his well-received debut album of 2002 included special guest vocalists Lenine, Ed Motta, Chico César, and Maria Rita. Subsequent releases were twice nominated for American Grammy awards.
