Joanna Schubert ~ Piano, Vocal Elizabeth LoPiccolo ~ Flute, Vocal Gabby Sherba ~ Vocal Sam Decker ~ Sax, Synth Nico Osborne ~ Bass Aaron Edgcomb ~ Drums OROPENDOLA is the project of Brooklyn-based singer, composer, and pianist JOANNA SCHUBERT, whose music blends theatrical chamber pop, playful dissonance, and lyrical storytelling. With echoes of Fiona Apple and Sufjan Stevens, her songs dance between the whimsical and the intimate, drawing from eclectic art-pop and indie-folk traditions. Schubert has released two LPs under Oropendola: Swimming (2025) and Waiting for the Sky to Speak (2023), and is currently working on her third. This full band performance will feature Elizabeth LoPiccolo on flute and vocals, Gabby Sherba on vocals, Sam Decker on saxophone and synth, Nico Osborne on bass, and Aaron Edgcomb on drums.
