Join us! Roni Eytan ~ Harmonica Gilad Hekselman ~ Guitar Kush Abadey ~ Drums Pablo Menares ~ Bass The journey of harmonica player RONI EYTAN has been anything but ordinary. By the age of 23, he was already touring the world’s main stages alongside Grammy-winning pianist Danilo Perez. He’s played with renowned artists such as Kris Davis, John Patitucci, John Beasley, Kevin Hays, Gilad Hekselman, and Shai Maestro. His rare talent and vision led him to be the only harmonica player personally chosen by jazz legends Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter to join the prestigious Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz (formerly the Thelonious Monk Institute). Rather than follow expected paths, he’s always pushed the boundaries of what the harmonica can express. His pioneering work in developing the world’s first microtonal harmonica -designed to capture the subtle nuances of traditional Middle Eastern Maqam music - opened new musical territories previously unexplored on the instrument. Throughout his career, Roni’s focus has remained on transcending the instrument itself, creating compelling musical statements that speak far beyond the harmonica’s typical voice. His debut album, is set for release in 2026. Produced by Shai Maestro, it blends jazz with Middle Eastern and cinematic elements, reflecting Eytan’s cross-cultural influences and his exploration of contemporary folk-inspired sounds. “This young man has exceptional talent that stands out quite distinctively as if a bright star in a wonderful galaxy. Tomorrow belongs to him.”
