Showing of ‘Nuevo Mundo’

Join us for this screening of the film Nuevo Mundo (1978, unrated, duration: 1 hour, 35 minutes), which tells the story of a priest in 16th-century Mexico who converts the local population to Christianity by making a statue of the Virgin Mary in the image of local indigenous women. This screening will be followed by an open discussion. While you’re here, be sure to check out the Meeting of the Condor and the Eagle Indigenous art exhibition. Open gallery hours are from 12–4pm.
