America 250: Community Barbecue   Saturday, May 2, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Chambers House Museum (2240 Calder Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701) Free Admission | No Registration Required   Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with the Chambers House Museum at our Community Barbecue! Join your friends, family, and neighbors for a free afternoon of food, fun, and history right here in our community (food and crafts while supplies last). What to Expect: Barbecue catered by 1701 Barbecue Shaved ice with Kona Ice Live music with D’Roux and the Trinity Period lawn games Children’s lawn games with the Beaumont Children’s Museum Educational craft activity Walkthroughs of the Chambers House Museum’s bottom floor This event is free and open to all, no registration required; simply come as you are and enjoy the celebration. We look forward to seeing you there! “America 250: Community Barbecue” is a celebration of shared heritage, community pride, and the diverse voices that continue to define Beaumont’s past, present, and future. The Chambers House Museum is located at 2240 Calder Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701. Parking is located behind the museum, off of McFaddin Ave and in between 6th street and 7th street. Guests are welcome to bring picnics to enjoy on the grounds. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets; no glass containers, tobacco and alcohol, or pets (service animals permitted).
