Fall Dance Lessons at the Armory! Visit the Eventbrite ticket link to register prior to the first class on September 22nd. $80 for one 6-week/1-hour session of your choice. Or sign up for both! Classes run Tuesdays, September 22-November 3 (no class 10/20). 6-7pm Beginner East Coast Swing Ballroom This beginner-friendly ballroom dance class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics of East Coast Swing in a fun, relaxed, and welcoming environment. No previous dance experience or partner is required! You’ll learn fundamental swing steps, rhythm, footwork, turns, and simple patterns while building confidence on the dance floor. We’ll break everything down step-by-step, so you can learn at your own pace while enjoying great music and having fun. No partner required. Come as you are, bring comfortable shoes, and get ready to swing! 7-8pm Beginner American Cha Cha & Rumba Join us for a fun and welcoming introduction to American Cha Cha and Rumba! This beginner-friendly class is designed for students with little to no ballroom dance experience. You’ll learn the basic steps, rhythm, timing, and fundamental patterns of both dances while building confidence and learning how to move comfortably with a partner. We’ll break everything down step-by-step, with plenty of practice time in a relaxed and supportive environment. No previous dance experience or partner is required! Come ready to learn, have fun, meet new people, and discover the joy of ballroom dancing. Partner not required About the Instructor, Kristen Renshaw Kristen discovered her passion for ballroom dancing in 2005 after starting at SwingTime Ballroom. She has choreographed countless dances for wedding couples, introduced dozens of people to Ballroom Dancesport competitions, and developed a youth ballroom track for dance students and recreational dancers.
