BAC's September Art Show at Downtown Pittsfield, Inc.

Berkshire Art Center is pleased to present its September Art Show at Downtown Pittsfield, Inc., located at 431 North Street. This month’s exhibition, “Making Marks,” features the work of local abstract artist Caroline Kelley, whose studio is located in Pittsfield’s Clock Tower Building. Kelley is also the Operations Manager at Berkshire Art Center and, like many members of the BAC team, maintains an active studio practice alongside her work at the Art Center. In Making Marks, Kelley celebrates the freedom, energy, and expressive possibilities of mark-making in drawing and painting. The exhibition features recent works that explore gesture, color, and expression, inviting viewers to experience the spontaneity and vitality of the artist’s hand. Join us at the reception for this exhibition on Friday, September 4th during First Fridays at Five in Pittsfield, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
