Do you like to read? Do you like to eat? Do you have some creative juices and imagination flowing inside of you? Join us for our 2nd annual Edible Book Festival! An Edible Book Festival is a whimsical celebration of books and food and an opportunity to think/create outside the box! Participants are encouraged to create edible works inspired by either a particular book or author. Click here to see an article the Berkshire Eagle wrote about our Edible Book Festival last year. Entries should be bookish in theme and made of food. Edible is optional….but encouraged! Participants will drop off their dish the morning of the event and will pick it up at the end of the event. Email info@stockbridgelibrary.org to RSVP. All ages are welcome to participate! We ask that you RSVP so that we can create a label with the name of the book that inspired you to go alongside your creation. Participants are required to bring their dish home with them at the end of the event. Sample Ideas: You can bring something simple that requires little to no baking or cooking like these ideas: Or you can bring something that requires a little bit more time to assemble: However much time and effort you want to spend on your creation is up to you, what matters most is that whatever you bring will be a celebration of books and reading!
