Spring nights belong to the frogs. From throaty croaks to bright, trilling calls, our amphibian neighbors turn wetlands and woodland edges into a full chorus after dark. Join us as we tune in to their world, learning to tell species apart by sound, spotting them along the water’s edge, and discovering why these small, slippery creatures play such an outsized role in the ecosystem. Part of our Creatures of the Night series, each program highlights a different nocturnal resident—from whip-poor-wills to fireflies—inviting you to experience the wonders of Bernheim at night.
