Nature (+) Smart Phone Photography

Enjoy a playful autumn photography stroll through Bernheim with artist and photographer Tatiana Rathke. Using the camera already in your pocket, you’ll learn the fundamentals of smartphone photography while slowing down, getting curious, and finding new ways to photograph the changing season, art, and landscape around you. Open to both iPhone and Android users, the workshop will begin with a short presentation covering composition, light and exposure, perspective, and simple editing techniques. We’ll then head to Bernheim’s L+A+N+D for a guided photo walk with creative prompts, experimenting with different ways of seeing and photographing, from the larger scene to small details that might otherwise go unnoticed. No photography experience is necessary; just bring your smartphone, curiosity, and a willingness to play! Bernheim members $25; Non-members $35 Registration required by 4 p.m. the day prior to the program. No pets, please. Call (502) 215-7155 or click the button below to register. Register
