Students of all ages can celebrate our planet by participating in our RESTORE Poster Content. K–12 students are invited to share their vision of “What does Healthy Planet, Healthy Us mean to them?” Be sure to nominate a Climate Hero. This can be an individual or group whose actions create meaningful climate solutions and inspire hope in our community. Activities Little Free Library Raffle – Enter for a chance to win a Little Free Library and help grow community reading spaces. Science Experiments with the S.T.E.A.M. Chemist – See science in action through lively demonstrations and interactive experiments. Pinecone Bird Feeders – Make a simple feeder to support local birds and take home a nature-inspired craft. Herbs & Veggies Sale – Shop a selection of plants and get tips from our Horticulturists who care for Bernheim’s landscapes. Free Tree Giveaway – Take home a young tree and help grow a healthier planet. Discovery Stations with Volunteer Naturalists – Stop by interactive stations to learn about wildlife, plants, and the forest ecosystem. Build Your Own Beaver Lodge at Playcosystem – Try your hand at building like a beaver using natural materials in the Playcosystem. Live Stake Planting at the Springhouse Restoration Site – Help restore the landscape by planting live stakes along the waterway. Poetry for the Planet – Celebrate Earth through words with a creative poetry activity inspired by nature. Kids’ Tree Climb with Grand Canopy Tree Service – Young adventurers can experience the forest from above with a guided tree climb. Yoga with Dariana – Join a bilingual (Spanish/English) yoga session that invites you to slow down, stretch, and connect with nature.
