Register Here! Join us this summer for Bethany Kids CREATE Summer Program to explore the boundless limits of artistic expression. Each day CREATors will participate in multidisciplinary arts, theater, movement, music, nature, and community arts activities. A core element of CREATE Summer Program is a community art project in which participants will work together to build SOMETHING based on the group’s unique interests and curiosities. Creators will embark on a nature adventure each day to engage with the natural environment at Bethany Arts Community and use outside the box thinking (literally!) to make art. Come CREATE with us! Participants bring nut-free snack, water bottle, and nut-free lunch that will be refrigerated. Example Day at CREATE Summer Program 9:00-9:25am Arrival and Morning Meeting! 9:30-10:20am Group 1: Theater & Music / Group 2: Visual Arts 10:25-10:40am Snack 10:45-11:35am Group 1: Visual Arts / Group 2: Theater & Music 11:40-12:10pm Community Art 12:10-12:30pm Lunch 12:30-1:00pm Explore & Play! 1:05-1:55pm Bethany Artist Visit & Activity 2:00-2:45pm Nature Adventure 2:50-3:00pm Dismissal On Thursdays from 1:05-2:45, creators will get to play with water (water table, sprinklers, water balloons, etc.) and will wear a bathing suit, towel, and a change of clothes. On Fridays from 2-3PM, creators’ families will be invited into our rehearsal space + gallery space where campers will display what pieces they’ve worked on during the week, both in visual arts and theater + music.
