Call for Teen Artists! Our applications are open for the BAC & ENU Builds 2026-27 Teen Arts Residency open to rising high school juniors and seniors in the NY-NJ-CT tri-state area. Bethany Arts Community (BAC) offers residencies to emerging and established artists for the development of both new works and works-in-progress. In partnership with ENU Builds, we identified a need across our communities to build a residency for the most emerging artists: high school artists of all mediums. ENUBuilds and the Bethany Arts Community are thrilled to be hosting the 4th Annual Teen Arts Residency. The 1st Teen Arts Residency in February 2024 welcomed seven local students to Bethany for three days. Over the course of three days, students had time and space to work on their craft, collaborate with one another, and learn from a mentor. From this original cohort, our Annual Teen Arts Residency continues to grow. Currently, the program is split up over two 4-day portions of the residency over the academic year, taking on up to seven high school Juniors and Seniors. The 4th Annual Teen Arts Residency will take place in both Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. One cohort will be selected to participate in both the Fall and Spring portions of the residency. During the Fall portion of the residency, artists will be encouraged to explore their discipline, while brainstorming and settling on a project idea. During the Spring portion of the residency, students will continue to work on and eventually share their project(s). In applying, students must be able to commit to attending both portions of the residency. ELIGIBILITY: This residency is open only to rising high school juniors and seniors (Class of 2027 & 2028) in the NY, NJ, CT tri-state area. Artists are provided room & board and a studio conducive to their artistic medium and/or project. There is no cost to apply or to participate.
