POTTERY: HAND-BUILDING INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED

Mondays, April 5, 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 2027 & Tuesdays, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 2027 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Students can register for either Monday or Tuesday 6-week class fee: $295/$236 annual donors Supply fee: $65 includes a 20 lb. bag of clay – glaze, and kiln firing. Purchased as needed through the box office Designed for students with basic hand-building experience, this class deepens your understanding of techniques such as coil, slab, and pinch construction. You’ll focus on improving form, structure, and surface design while incorporating decorative elements like carving, stamping, and glazing. Students will work on guided projects such as lidded vessels, sculptural forms, or functional ware, with increasing creative freedom. OR funds may be applied to any other workshop of your choice during the current season. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations made less than one week prior to the start of the class.
