Live at Lugar Performance with Mina Keohane

Join us at Lugar Plaza on Thursday, October 8, from 12–1 p.m. for a live performance by Mina Keohane. Mina Keohane is a composer, instrumentalist, and vocalist. Her approach to music draws heavily from her exposure to many different styles, experiences and cultures throughout her life. She studied composition and voice at the Berklee College of Music, with her main influences being Charles Mingus, Maria Schneider, Gil Evans and Beethoven. In her personal work, Keohane strives to allow the music to organically inform her choices without adhering to any particular stylistic definitions or limitations. In her commercial work, she listens to the vision of her clients, and tries to realize and execute the vibe and feeling of each individual project to tell the story on an emotional level through music.
