About this event
One of 8 upcoming events at Bird-in-Hand Properties.
Learn to create a custom piece of seasonal decor Just in time for the holidays, you can learn how to transform ordinary materials into treasured artwork. In this 90-minute workshop, local artisan Karen Worst will guide you through the process of selecting the glass, beads and wooden pieces you’ll use to make a still-life picture of a Christmas tree, putting the pieces together with resin binder and, finally, matting and framing your creation to take home. Choose from a variety of colors to match your décor. Before retiring, Karen Worst worked as a nurse by day and created art in her downtime. Today, she makes one-of-a-kind, nature-inspired art with glass, recycled glass and sea glass, resin, acrylic paint and other simple materials. Reserve your space today! $30 per person includes instruction and all material for framed 6-x-6-inch finished art. Date: Saturday, October 24 Time: 10 a.m. To save your space: Limited spots available. Call (717) 344-6875 to reserve your space.
